After some time, I have decided to remove the designation of Alpha and Beta testing. I have, I believed, worked out the bugs of the project. Bugs of course may be subjective. I worked out what I think is a bug. Also, I have my science app working correctly with the BOINC API. I have in the past week or two sent out quite a few work units and they have produce excellent results. The results also match each other very well (within the limits of float and double precision). Therefore I don't feel the need to continue the beta and alpha statuses. Thanks go out everyone who's been very helpful in testing the project. I hope to see you guys continue on with me. I'm particularly thankful to those of you posting your observations on the fora here. It's been very helpful. BOINC can be a bit cryptic at times and your help has moved things along much more smoothly. To show this, I've added a special line to the work certificate that can be found on the main page, to indicate that you were an alpha and/or beta tester. Not sure if anyone's noticed that. When I beta test a program change in the future I will simply denote that in the applications name.

Very cool. So...when will the work start flowing? Well. It has started. Not sure the if/when the rate will increase. I am in the middle of a 4 week summer course which is taking up a lot of my time right now (if fact I got online to enter grades in the grade book *sigh*) ____________ ![]() ![]()

Congratulations David. Excellent! I mean I'm not going to be a big work producer like Einstein@Home, but I appreciate the help. ____________ ![]() ![]()

Yom, you were doing a great job of communicating in the forums, what happen to you? Did you get sick? Hurt? Board? Lol. No. Just very busy. Well I was sick then busy again. Actually, I have been checking in on the boards(see also this), but since I haven't had much time to get to the lensing simulations, work orders have slowed considerablly. If you interested, I've been also working on an FFT system for similar work I'm doing with galaxy clusters. That's taken a bit of time away, but as I posted in the message I linked to above, I'd like to send you guys some WU's related to that for lensing comparison. That'll be the next thing. 'Course you would get that simulation stuff, but it's too fast! (not to mention less noisy... (noisy in the S/N sense)) Yeah, work's slowed down. But thanks for the post checking in. Hope to get more out soon. ____________ ![]() ![]()
